AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING AN INCREASE IN THE ASSET.
MANAGEMENT PLAN FUND EXPENDITURES OF $2,201,380, A REDUCTION
IN THE GENERAL FUND OF $321,920, A REDUCTION IN THE PARKS AND
OPEN SPACE FUND OF $1,563,350, AN INCREASE IN THE WHEELER OPERA
HOUSE FUND OF $715,080, A REDUCTION IN THE CITY TOURISM
PROMOTION FUND OF $214,000, AN INCREASE IN THE TRANSPORTATION
FUND OF $192,410 AN INCREASE IN THE HOUSING DEVELOPMENT FUND
OF $501,730, AN INCREASE IN THE EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION
FUND OF $380, AN INCREASE IN THE KIDS FIRST FUND OF $48,390, AN
INCREASE IN THE STORMWATER FUND OF $183,100, AN INCREASE IN
THE PARKS AND OPEN SPACE CAPITAL FUND OF $218,280, AN INCREASE
IN THE WATER FUND OF $2,170,190, AN INCREASE IN THE ELECTRIC
FUND OF $795,080, AN INCREASE IN THE RENEWABLE ENERGY FUND OF
$2,835,320, AN INCREASE IN THE PARKING FUND OF $37,000, A
REDUCTION IN THE GOLF COURSE FUND OF $33,690, AN INCREASE IN
THE TRUSCOTT FUND OF $241,750, AN INCREASE IN THE MAROLT FUND
OF $1,020, A REDUCTION IN THE EMPLOYEE HEALTH INSUARANCE
FUND OF $1,240, AN INCREASE IN THE EMPLOYEE HOUSING FUND OF
$76,650, A REDUCTION IN THE HOUSING ADMINASTRITION FUND OF
$22,540 AND A REDUCTION IN THE SMUGGLER FUND OF $600.
WHEREAS, by virtue of Section 9.12 of the Home Rule Charter, the City Council may
make supplemental appropriations; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has certified that the City has unappropriated current yeaz
revenues and/or unappropriated prior yeaz fund balance available for appropriations in
the following funds: ASSET MANAGEMENT PLAN FUND, GENERAL FUND,
PARKS AND OPEN SPACE FUND, WHEELER OPERA HOUSE FUND, CITY
TOURISM PROMOTION FUND, TRANSPORTATION FUND, HOUSING
DEVELOPMENT FUND, EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION FUND, KIDS FIRST
FUND, STORMWATER, PARKS AND OPEN SPACE CAPITAL FUND, WATER
FUND, ELECTRIC FUND, RENEWABLE ENERGY FUND, PARKING FUND, GOLF
COURSE FUND, TRUSCOTT FUND, MAROLT FUND, EMPLOYEE HEALTH
INSURANCE FUND, EMPLOYEE HOUSING FUND, HOUSING
ADMINISTRATION FUND AND THE SMUGGLER FUND.
WHEREAS, the City Council is advised that certain expenditures, revenue and transfers
must be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ASPEN, COLORADO:
Section 1
Upon the City Manager's certification that there are current year revenues and/or prior
year fund balances available for appropriation in the: ASSET MANAGEMENT PLAN
FUND, GENERAL FUND, PARKS AND OPEN SPACE FUND, WHEELER OPERA
HOUSE FUND, CITY TOURISM PROMOTION FUND, TRANSPORTATION FUND,
HOUSING DEVELOPMENT FUND, EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION FUND,
KIDS FIRST FUND, STORMWATER, PARKS AND OPEN SPACE CAPITAL FUATD,
WATER FUND, ELECTRIC FUND, RENEWABLE ENERGY FUND, PARKING
FUND, GOLF COURSE FUND, TRUSCOTT FUND, MAROLT FUND, EMPLOYEE
HEALTH INSURANCE FUND, EMPLOYEE HOUSING FUND, HOUSING
ADMINISTRATION FUND AND THE SMUGGLER FUND: the City Council hereby
makes supplemental appropriations as itemized in the Attachment A.
Section 2
If any section, subdivision, sentence, clause, phrase, or portion of this ordinance is for
any reason invalid or unconstitutional by any court or competent jurisdiction, such
portion shall be deemed a sepazate, distinct and independent provision and such holding
shall not affect the validity of the remaining portion thereof.
