MEMORANDUM
Alan Richman, Planning Director
Midland Park Unit G-10/ James Hancock,Owner
Cindy Houben, Planner
6/30/88
Attached is a request by the owner of unit G-10 of the Midland
Park PUD for an insubstantial amendment to a PUD. pursuant to
section 7-907 of the Aspen municipal Code. The request is to add
a 56 square foot storage area and a deck(12' x 161) to the above
mentioned unit. A similar design was approved in August of 1987
for unit G-12 of the Midland park PUD. I have made the finding
that the proposal is insubstantial in nature and will not change
the use or character of the PUD. None of the other criteria in
section 7-907 apply to this request. In addition, attached is a
copy of the approval of the design by the Board of Directors of
the Homeowners Association of Midland Park.
The Homeowners Association, Board of Directors, has been made
aware that this application will be the last insubstantial PUD
amendment to be granted to the Midland Park PUD. In the future
the Association must make a blanket request for changes within
the PUD.
I recommend approval of the storage addition and deck addition to
unit G-10 of the Midland Park PUD with the following conditions.
1.The applicant shall receive a building Permit for the
requested additions.
2. The applicant shall pay the Planning Office a $100.00
application fee prior to the issuance of a building permit.
3. No future insubstantial amendments to the Midland Park
PUD shall be approved by the Planning Office.
I hereby approve the prposed
insubstantial PUD amendment
pursuant to section 7-907 of he
Aspe Municipal Code.

RE: Midland Park Unit G-13 Stoarge Uit
August 17, 1987
Dear Mr. and Mrs. Dozier,
We have reviewed your plans to enclose a storage area next to the
front door of Midland Park Unit G-13 and underneath the existing
roof, to match the existing finish of the building. We find that
this minor change to an approved Planned Unit Development (PUD)
plan meets the critieria of Section 24-8.26(a) of the Municipal
Code. No change in character of the development or increase in
overall coverage of structure would result.
I hereby approve the proposed development activity.
