In 1994 the City of Aspen purchased this property from John &
Kathryn Snyder. It is described as a tract of land situated in Riverside
Placer U.S. Mineral Survey No. 3905, amended and lying in Section 18,

Township 10 South, Range 84 West of the 6 P.M..
Snyder Park is a joint housing and neighborhood park. The City owns
the park and also owns an interest in the Riverside Ditch water right
and related structures, rights of way and easements acquired with the
purchase of the original Snyder Park Parcel. The Association is a
legally created non-profit corporation in the state of Colorado, and
owns and operates the common areas of the Snyder Park
Condominium, an affordable housing project. The park features a
small stream that runs through the rocks down the hill and into a
beautiful pond. There is a winding path around the pond, a picnic
area and playscape.
