Dear Mrs. Graves:
Pursuant to the provisions of 11-1-3 of the Official Code of the City of Aspen,
I would ask that this letter be considered as an application for the change of
the "Zoning District Map" for the above described property.
This office represents Mrs. Louise Saurel, the fee owner of Lots H and I, Block
73, City and Townsite of Aspen, and herewith makes application on her behalf.
The following is the ownership of the property located in the South 1/2 of Block
73, City and Townsite of Aspen:

The application of Mrs. Saurel is that the "Zoning District Map" be amended to
place the subject property in AR-1 or C-1 zoning as opposed to its present R-6
status, thereby permitting a higher density usage of the property.
The reasons stated by the applicant for amendment of the "Zoning District Map"
are that:
1. Present zoning prohibits increased utilization of the subject property.
2. The subject property is presently adjacent to C-1 zoned property and in
close proximity to AR-1 zoned property.
3. The area in which the subject property is located is an area in which there
exists a great many non-conforming uses.
I would request that the application herein made be set for hearing after proper
notice and publication. Herewith submitted is a copy of the "Zoning District Map"
indicating the property for which amendment is desired. That property is out-
lined in red.
If there are further requirements before our application may be considered, please
contact this office.
