MODERN NEGOTIATION PERIOD FOR HISTORIC DESIGNATION AND
BENEFITS RELATED TO THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 610 E. HYMAN
AVENUE,LOT M, BLOCK 99, CITY AND TOWNSITE OF ASPEN,
COLORADO
Resolution No. 119, Series of 2012
WHEREAS, 610 E. Hyman LLC, represented by Haas Land Planning, submitted an
application pursuant to Section 26.415.025.C, AspenModern Properties, of the Aspen
Municipal Code, to voluntarily participate in a ninety-day negotiation period for historic
preservation of 610 E. Hyman Avenue, Lot M, Block 99, City and Townsite of Aspen;
and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 26.415.025.C.1, the ninety-day AspenModern
negotiation commenced on March 28, 2012 and was to expire on June 26, 2012. City
Council granted an extension to December 23, 2012 through Resolution No. 53, Series of
2012; and
WHEREAS,the project is under review by City Council, but additional time is needed to
complete the negotiation, therefore Council and the property owner are in agreement that
a 60 day extension to February 21, 2013 is appropriate to allow additional time to discuss
options for the property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO:
The 610 E. Hyman Avenue negotiation period established by Aspen Municipal Code
Section 26.415.025.0 is hereby extended to February 21, 2013.
APPROVED by the Aspen City Council at its regular meeting on December 10, 2012.
