S en 12 Days of Aspen 2012 Executive Summary The last 12 days of 2012 were packed with fun for the entire family! Excitin g new events such as a pancake breakfast and tethered hot air balloon rides spiced up the 12 Days of Aspen cale ndar, while visitors also enjoyed long-time favorites like making s'mores, visiting with Santa's reindeer, or the Ne extravaganza to ring in 2013. w Year's Eve fireworks History: The 12 Days of Aspen celebration began in 2009 in an effort to bring vitality to As pen's downtown core over the holidays. It is a collaboration between the Aspen Chamber Resort Association C CLC, and the City of Aspen to offer events that provide memorable experiences for the holiday visitor. The 12 D ays of Aspen calendar is a pp compilation of existing holiday events hosted by the Aspen community. It is su lem ented with additional holiday themed activities produced by the ACRA. All of ACRA's events are free and open to the public. Impacts and Outcomes: (*=Events were produced by ACRA) *December 20: Ice Skating Show and Party Aspen Skating Club provided a 30 minute show complete with music over the loud speaker and costumes Peach's Corner Cafe donated hot chocolate C.P.
