DESCRIPTION OF PROPOSED EXCEPTION SHOViING JUSTIFICATIONS:
Exception is being sought for a bay window to be added to the dining
room on the east side of the house. An exception is needed because
the house is already in violation of current" setback requiit'eme!itl,ljl111 *** *ZO.OO
The window will project approximately 5" further than the current roof
overhang. I want to add the bay window to let more mornirrq sun into

PROVISIONS OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE REQUIRING THE BUILDING INSPECTOR
TO FORWARD THIS APPLICATION TO THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT AND REASON
FOR NOT GRANTING:
APPLICATION IS MADE FOR A BUILDING PERMIT TO CONSTRUCT
A BAY WINDOW ON AN EXISTING ONE FAMILY DWELLING. The proposed
bay window will have a street side yard of 2.7 feet. The required
side yard is 6.66 feet, however a bay window can be considered
an architectural projection which can project into a required
yard one foot. Therefore, the bay window should have a minimum
side yard of 5.66 feet.
