I am seeking to ~nclose the front patio space that is designated
public arcade, for use in the winter as a waitin~ area for the
restaurant. The proposed enclosere will be sliding glass doors
and the complete strcture wili be removable in the spring.
During the summer months this space is used for seating fo~ .
the restaurant since Souper is the only tenant on the front of
the Roaring Fork Building~ There. are no perman'ent - structures
located on the po~h at present.

TO ALL PROPERTY OWNEI<.S AFFECTED BY THE REQUESTED ZONING OR USE VARIANCE
DESCRIBED BELOH:
Pursuant to the Official Code of Aspen of June 25, 1962, as amended, a
public hearing will be held in the Council Room, City Hall, Aspen, Colo-
rado, (or at such other place as the meeting ma:" be then adjourned) to
consider an application filed with the said Board of Adjustment requesting
authority for variance from the provisions of the Zoning Ordinance, Chapter
24, Official Code of Aspen. All persons affected by the proposed variance
are invited to appear and state their views, protests or objections. If
you cannot appear personally at such meeting, then you are urged to state.

I think Souper is a fine addition to our neighborhood as
I am an adjacent property owner. I favor the enclosure
of the porcb as proposed because I am aware of their inside
space limitations and I feel the waiting area would be
a needed convenience to tbeir customers.
