TO ALL PROPERTY m~mRS AFFECTED BY THE REQUESTED ZONING OR USE VARIANCE
DESCRIBED BELS:;:
Pursuant to the Officigl Code of Aspen of June 25, 1962, as amended, a
public hearing will be held in the Council Roc~, City Hall, Aspen, Colo-
rado, (or at such other place as the meeting may be then adjourned) to
consider an application filed with the said Board of Adjustment requesting
authority for variance from the provisions of the Zoning Ordinance, Chapter
24, Official Code of Aspen. All persons affected by the proposed variance
are invited to appear and state their views, protests or objections. If
you cannot appear personally at such meeting, then you are urged to state,.
yo~views by letter, particularly if you have objection to such variance,
as the Board of Adjustment will give serious consideration to the opinions
of surrounding property owners and others affected in deciding whether to
grant or deny the request for variance.

Re: Case No. 75-8 (Sepp Kessler)
Dear Members:
This is to respectfully request that the Variance sought by
Sepp Kessler be denied, for the following reasons:
1.

The variance requested appears to ask that the
Adjustment 'forgive' a discrepancy of some 1,150
2. The proposed variance would allow Sepp Kessler to
construct an addition which would completely block out the
one window in my kitchen, plus one of two windows in my
living room, This would lead to the necessity of even higher
use of electricity and gas; not to mention the prospect of
having one's kitchen and living room in perpetual gloom.
The above statements hold true for the two small rental units
in back of my home.
3. The parking problems in this particular area (end
of East Durant St,) are truly frightful - summer, winter,
and even in our off seasons.
4. It is my firm belief that granting of the variance
requested by Sepp Kessler would drastically reduce the value
of my home and rental units.
Thank you for your attention in this matter.
