Director of Sponsorships and Events - Job Description
I. Maintaining and enhancing existing events:
1. Retain and enhance existing events.
2. Generate national sponsorship and media exposure to events hosted in
Aspen.
3. Quantify profitability/success of event.
II. Create sponsorship package for events to sell Aspen.
1. Create marketing package for Aspen.
2. Why "ASpen" shOuld be the site for their event.
III. Develop new events.
1. Develop a list of potential events.
2. Develop a list of possible sponsors.
3. Market Aspen to PR companies, ad agencies and event companies as
site for event.
Required skills for the position:
1. Ability to collect and coordinate marketing strategies.

Dear Ms. Strickland,
I am writing to you on behalf of Habitat for Humanity of the Roaring Fork Valley, to
request permission to display a child's playhouse in the mall by the kiosk, from June 28,
2002 to July 4th, 2002.
The playhouse was designed for Habitat for Humanity by Galambus/Muir Architects, and
built by Matt Flynn builders to be auctioned to raise funds for the charity. Our hope ~s
to display the playhouse in the mall while offer/ng tickets for sale and prior to displaying
the playhouse in Aspen's 4th of July parade. The tickets will sell for ~;I0.00 a piece, and
the winner will be announced after the parade.
