A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO,
APPROVING A CHANGE ORDER BETWEEN THE CITY OF ASPEN AND DESIGN
WORKSHOP, LLC AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE SAID CHANGE
ORDER ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO.
WHEREAS, a Request for Proposals procurement process has been completed to solicit
proposals from architectural teams to create a site plan, architectural designs, and construction
drawings, for City of Aspen Downtown Pedestrian Mall Improvements project and;
WHEREAS, Phases I: Investigation and Research and Phase II: Conceptual Planning of the
contract were completed and continuation of services for future Phases is described in the
contract via Change Orders and;
WHEREAS, submitted to the City Council is Change Order#1 for Professional Services between
the City of Aspen and Design Workshop, LLC, a true and accurate copies of which is attached
hereto as "Exhibit 1."
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ASPEN, COLORADO,
That the City Council of the City of Aspen hereby approves Change Order 41 between
the City of Aspen and Design Workshop, LLC and that the City Council of the City of Aspen
hereby authorizes the City Manager to execute such Contract for Architectural Services between
the City of Aspen and Design Workshop, LLC, copies of which are annexed hereto and
incorporated herein.
INTRODUCED, READ AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Aspen on
the 10th of December 2019.
