Thanks again for meeting with me last week as a pre-comnference for the above subject property.
As a follow up we discussed the concept of reusing existing windows in a small family room expansion in lieu of throwing away to
satisfy current energy code requirement U-Values. Per your urging I have been in contact with Stephen Kanipe to discuss reusing the
window units.
Stephen has accepted reuse of the windows, but will require that proper flashing, and air sealing details are provided with the building
permit submittal, and inspected upon installation.
