Scot,
I showed these drawings to other staff members and everyone is comfortable with the plan you
are showing to decommission the space.

Subject: 31 Maroon Creek Club - Storage to Crawl Sapce

Hi Jim,
First, thanks for working with me on this on going topic.
Aaached is informaNon of the current condiNons of the storage room we have discussed, and
our proposed ideas. As menNoned the situaNon I am running into is the lower crawl space
below the storage room. This space has plumbing, and HVAC duct work that would be difficult
to reroute. Our proposal is to fill +/- 264 SF of the storage room as a trade off to enclose a upper
level deck for a Family Room.
We are proposing to place geo-foam blocks as fill with +/- 2” of gravel fill, and a 4” concrete
slab. This will yield a 5’-6” tall crawl space. We had discussed filling the space with dirt, but due
to the crawl space below the storage room, and the mechanical equipment in the crawl the
weight of the amount of dirt (+/- 4’-6”) we would need would jeopardize the exisNng framing,
and thus the mechanical equipment.
I appreciate you taking these condiNons in to account in your review of this proposal. Please let
me know as soon as you can win this is acceptable, and I will formalize for a submiaal.
Thank you.
Scot
