See plan. Description A new deck will be built to match the adjacent units and provide a more functional deck experience. The new deck will be built prior to the removal of the existing deck in order to maintain access to interior bathroom, haul new windows and doors into place while minimizing traffic through Unit 21. There is no impact on public utilities such as storm sewer, sanitary sewer or water main. Permits This Construction Management Plan is to be summited along with the building permit application. Public notification We will provide a notification to the surrounding units 10 days prior to beginning construction on the deck. Project Sign A sign will be made to meet the criteria in City Municipal Code 26.510.030B4 Dates of Construction Construction will begin within 2 weeks after receiving final building permits to allow for public notification and material orders. The project in totality is not expected to take more than 3 weeks to complete. Parking Management No more than 2 vehicles (trucks) will be used for the construction of the deck as no subcontractors are expected. Off street parking is available as shown on site plan Staging All material will be brought onsite by the contractor including concrete, all framing materials and decking. Concrete will be mixed onsite as only a ½ cubic yard is expected to be used. A Construction trailer will only be used for one day in order to remove the existing deck. All other trash will be removed on a daily basis by the contractor. Portions of the existing deck will be reused in the construction of the new deck where possible. Deck railing, wall and some structural elements will be reused. No hazardous materials are expected to be used. Traffic There will be no significant traffic related to this project. 09/28/17 Delivery As stated above in “staging”, all materials will be brought onsite by the contractors on a truck rack. The owners parking spot will be availed and the materials can be unloaded as necessary. Sediment 4 holes for the bigfoot support systems will be hand dug and extra dirt will be hauled offsite. The amount of dirt removed will not exceed 14 cubic feet. Emissions No diesel trucks will be used in the construction process. Both contractors’ trucks are GMC’s dating to 2004 and 2007 respectively. Noise The nosiest tools expected to be used are a saw, air compressor and nail gun. No heavy equipment will be used in the excavation. 09/28/17
