Michael,
I agree with those exhibits. Please include those in your building permit submission in order to verify
the calculations at time of permit.

Mike,
Please find attached a final revised demo calculation based on our discussion on Friday. I have
moved the polyline of the hatch to the inside of the wall per your request. Because this caused the
demolition number to increase by 2% pushing me over the 50% threshold, I kept the walls
separating the bathroom/closet from bedroom #003 making only the bathroom an area of
demolition. This brought us down to 44%, well below the 50% threshold. I think this is a good
meeting of the intent of the code section Mike. Thank you for your timely review of this material
and assistance thus far.

Michael,
I checked the areas, and they don’t match the provided areas. Please see the attached PDF for the
numbers I got. Please let me know where you think the differences are.

Michael,
I do not completely agree with the numbers provided. As we discussed in our meeting, the entire
entry needs to be included besides the stairs. Please add the entry area square footage into your
calculations. The upper level demo plan depicts a demo hatch, but the hatch is excluded certain
fixtures that must be included in the square footage as well since the entire room is include. Please

include entire area of all rooms being effected.
Also your spreadsheet notes an increase in lot coverage of nearly 1000 SF. Where does this increase
occur? We only discussed interior work, plus the compliance work. Please verify.

Subject: 100 Park Demo Calculations
Mike,
Please see attached a demolition summary included in the zoning analysis as well as demolition
calculations mapping out the areas we reviewed at your office. Based on the applied methodology
of calculation I believe we are comfortably below the 50% demolition threshold which will not
trigger a major engineering review. We can the treat the site walls as a separate compliance issue
as discussed and submit as one permit without drainage analysis and control for the whole site.
Please confirm this demolition demonstration and calculation meets your expectations. Thank you
so much for your time Mike. It was very helpful. We are looking forward to pushing this project
forward and bringing a conclusion to the open red tag.
