Description
Hi Nick.
HPC has requested we coordinate recently approved revisions to the historic Victorian
design with the Building Department. The changes made since the permit was issued are
as follows and included on sheets A-300.00 and A-302.00:
• HPC requested the (2) double-hung windows be changed to (4) fixed vertical
windows. Amy Simon at HPC provided a photograph of the old house indicating
desired proportion and spacing.
• Dormer ridge height was increased several inches to allow for steeper roof pitch to
more closely relate to West dormer and primary roof pitch
• Skirt roof-to-spiderweb detail proportion was changed on dormer pediment per
HPC direction. See A-302.00
• Dormer width was increased to accommodate code required head height and floor
clearance at interior when stepping out of elevator.
• West dormer existing framing revealed the 2-story bay window was stepped in
about 6 inches at approximately the level 2 floor line. The exterior elevations have
been updated to show these existing conditions.
