The proposed shrubs shown here may beeliminated during the value engineering process,so we have assumed for the purpose ofcompliance that the shrubs, if installed asdesigned, will be dripped separately (low use),but in terms of water use calculations, these areincluded in zone A5 (medium use), since thiswould be more restrictive.

The proposed deciduous tree shown here maybe eliminated during the value engineeringprocess, so we have assumed for the purpose ofcompliance that the tree, if installed as designed,will be dripped with the adjacent (low use)perennial bed, but in terms of water usecalculations, it is included in zone A15 (mediumuse),since this would be more restrictive.
The note 'Zone A12' refers to the entire region of sod, not just this tree.The deciduous tree to the NE is well established, and its root systemextends fairly far. Because we intend to use turf seed or sod (asappropriate) up to the trunk, it is treated in the calculations as part of thesod area. The tree marked 'A6' is dripped separately and will have a ringof mulch beneath, since its density will likely make sod establishmentdifficult. L8.10 shows a single drip line connecting this tree with theshrub irrigation adjacent.
