There is not enough room between the D1 window and the roof line for a header to be installed. This clearance issue affects two D1 windows in the dormer area. Please note that FCI is proceeding with exterior framing of the dormer without a window until a alternate window is selected. INSTALL 3-1/2" LVL HEADERS 2. CUT THE LOWEST 2X PLATE IN ADDITION, THE D1 DORMER WINDOWS (DOUBLE-HUNG) AND THE STORAGE AREA WINDOWS (CASEMENTS) SHALL BE SWAPPED. THE D1 DOUBLE-HUNGS TO BE RELOCATED TO THE STORAGE AREA WILL REQUIRE GOVERNORS TO RESTRICT THE OPENING. PROVIDE HEAT TAPE ON EXISTING ROOF BELOW THE NEW D1 DORMER WINDOW ON TEH WEST SIDE ONLY.
