Final Clearance Air Monitoring Services
Date: November 9, 2018
Project: Abatement of asbestos containing wallboard texture from the
Phase I enclosure work area at 210 E. Cooper, Unit 1G in Aspen,
Colorado.
Contractor: Quetzal Environmental, Aurora, Colorado
Air Monitoring Description:
Phase Con provided final clearance air monitoring services at the project
site listed above on November 12, 2018. Air samples were situated
inside the enclosure so as to be representative of the entire work space.
Air samples were obtained utilized aggressive sampling methods to aid
in ensuring that any fibrous material left in the enclosure would be
entrained in the air during the sampling period.
Abatement Description:
Abatement of asbestos containing wallboard texture from the Phase I
enclosure work area.
Comments and Recommendations:
PCM analysis of the final clearance air samples revealed airborne fiber
levels inside the containment area(s) to be less than the Colorado State
Maximum Allowable Asbestos Level (MAAL) and the EPA clearance level
of 0.010 fibers per cubic centimeter of air; therefore, the area(s) may
be re-9cactoed- der non -abatement conditions.
