Vos Caudill, Pitkin County, CO A RESOLUTION OF THE ASPEN HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION GRANTING A SIX MONTH EXTENSION OF THE CONCEPTUAL APPROVAL FOR A PROJECT AT 610 E. HYMAN AVENUE,LOT M, BLOCK 99, CITY AND TOWNSITE OF ASPEN, COLORADO RESOLUTION #31, SERIES OF 2013 PARCEL ID: 2737-182-12-004 WHEREAS, on September 19, 2013, 610 E. Hyman LLC, owner of 610 E. Hyman Avenue, Lot M, Block 99, City and Townsite of Aspen, Colorado, requested a six month extension of the Conceptual design approval granted by the Historic Preservation Commission through Resolution #27, Series of 2012. According to Section 26.415.070.D.3.c.3, of the Municipal Code, application for a final development plan shall be submitted within one (1) year of the date of approval of a conceptual development plan. Failure to file such an application within this time period shall render null and void the approval of the conceptual development plan; and WHEREAS, Section 26.415.070.D.3.c.3, of the Municipal Code allows the Historic Preservation Commission, at its sole discretion and for good cause shown, to grant a one-time extension of the expiration date for a conceptual development plan approval for up to six (6) months provided a written request for extension is received no less than thirty (30) days prior to the expiration date; and WHEREAS, Amy Simon, in her staff report to HPC dated October 9, 2013, recommended that a one-time extension be granted; and WHEREAS, at their regular meeting on October 9, 2013, the Historic Preservation Commission considered the request and granted a six month extension to the deadline to submit a final development application. The vote of the members was 5 to 0. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That HPC hereby extends the deadline to file a final development application related to Resolution #27, Series of 2012 from October 24, 2013 to April 22, 2014.
