1.0 General
1.1 Disturbance
1.1.1 Total square footage of soil disturbance is 0 sf
1.1.2 Total square footage of building renovation is 1,072 sf
1.2 Table of Contents
1.2.1 Per Construction Management Plan Requirements Manual (April 2016) the total
soil disturbance is less than 1,000 SF, however the building renovation is greater
than 400 SF. Therefor a Construction Management Plan is required for this
project.
2.0 Project Location
2.1 Disturbance area
2.1.1 Disturbed area shall be a total of 0 sf
2.1.2 No new structural elements to be incorporated into the existing building
2.1.3 No new exterior modifications to be incorporated into the existing building

2.3 Description
2.3.1 The project scope of work consists of an interior remodel of existing bedrooms,
bathrooms and Kitchen area. Minor interior partition wall renovation with the
addition of new interior doors, fixtures and finishes.
2.3.2 No exterior walls are being moved. No new penetrations to the exterior walls or
roofs. Two window sashes shall be replaced with operative openings for
increased natural air flow.
3.0 Project Documentation
3.1 Permits
3.1.1 A #1 Building Permit is submitted. All trade permits will be submitted by
licensed subcontractors.
3.1.2 No permits have been issued to date
3.1.3 Homeowner Association Compliance Policy has been signed by Owner
3.1.4 Zoning Compliance Verification Policy has been signed by General Contractor
3.2 Public Notification
3.2.1 Notification of neighbors within 300 feet shall be distributed via USPS by the
design team/Owner
3.3 Project Sign
3.3.1 Project Signage shall comply with Appendix A: Required Construction Sign of the
CMP Requirements Manual 2016

4.0 Project Implementation
4.1 Dates of Construction
Construction is estimated to begin April 15, 2018 and be completed June 30, 2018
4.2 Hours of Construction
Hours of construction shall be limited to the hours allowable by the city of Aspen outside of
the CRA and Central Core areas as defined in Appendix E: Core and Central Resort Area Map
of the CMP Requirements Manual 2016.
4.3 Sequencing of Construction
See attached Construction Schedule

4.4 Adjoining Properties
Project shall comply with the adjoining properties policy
4.5 Project Fencing
No project fencing shall be installed as this is interior only renovation.
Noise suppression fencing is not required
4.6 Public Health and Welfare
Public health and welfare shall be maintained during the entire construction project
4.7 Natural Environment
4.7.1 Project shall comply as to protect the natural environment
5.0 Site and Right of Way Management
5.1 Right of Way Management Plan
There is no anticipated encroachment into the Right-of-way.
5.2 Read Emergency Vehicle Access and Ordinance 35
The Project shall maintain continuous emergency vehicle access on and around the site.
5.3 Construction Parking Details
According to the City of Aspen Traffic Impact Analysis Guidelines the level of TIA is EXEMPT
and does not require a TDM and MMLOS.
5.4 Staging Areas
5.4.1 Staging areas are indicated on the graphical CMP
5.4.2 Timing of excavation is April 1 – June 30
5.4.3 No tower crane is anticipated for this project
5.4.4 There is no anticipated encroachment into the Right-of-way
5.5 Right of Way Limitations
There are no Right-of-way encroachments anticipated for this Project
5.6 Site Plan
5.6.1 See graphical CMP provided by the design team
5.6.2 No construction trailer is anticipated for this minor project
5.6.3 Extents of excavation are indicated on the Landscape Plan
5.6.4 No tower crane is anticipated for this project
5.6.5 On-site separation and recycling shall be performed on this project
5.7 Waste Management
5.7.1 See attached Waste Management Plan
5.7.2 Co-mingled materials and cardboard shall be separated on-site

5.7.3 Food waste shall be contained in a bear-proof container
5.7.4 Concrete shall be transported separately
5.7.5 All litter and debris shall not scatter to adjoining properties
5.7.6 An on-site hazardous material spill cleanup kit shall be maintained during the
project
6.0 Traffic Control
6.1 General
Traffic control coordination and supervision are not anticipated during this project
6.2 Haul Routes
All hauling from/to project shall comply with the City of Aspen designated routes
6.3 Onsite Vehicle Limitations
There will be no oversized vehicles on the project at any time
6.4 Delivery Requirements
6.4.1 Hours of deliveries shall be in accordance with the City of Aspen Construction
Schedule and calendar specific for this location
6.4.2 Only one delivery vehicle shall be allowed on the site at one time
6.4.3 Delivery and Heavy Duty Vehicles must have a visible sign on the vehicle
indicating the contractors name and phone number
6.4.4 No idling is allowed for more than 5 minutes at the project
6.5 Traffic Control Plan
A Traffic Control Plan is not anticipated for this project
7.0 Pedestrian Protection
This project will not interfere with sidewalks as there are currently no sidewalks in the area
8.0 Sediment and Erosion Control
This project has no soil disturbance and is not subject to Sediment and Erosion Control
measures
9.0 Fugitive Dust Control
With the limited nature of the excavation on this project, fugitive dust is not a concern. Any dirt
that is transported onto the right-of-way shall be immediately cleared via hand broom.

10.0 Emissions
10.1 General
All vehicles and equipment shall be properly maintained to within manufacturer’s
specifications
10.2 Emissions from Diesel Powered Engines
All emissions from diesel powered engines shall have a density of no more than 40%.
11.0 Noise Suppression
11.1 General
All construction equipment shall be adequately muffled and maintained to minimize
noise
11.2 Noise Suppression Plan
All activities on-site shall be performed so as to limit noise and shall comply with
Appendix C of the CMP Manual 2016
11.3 Noise Limits and Suppression Requirements
Project shall comply with the required decibel limitations at the property line during
construction. All work performed that may approach the sound producing limitations
shall not occur on weekends nor before 9AM on weekdays. No radios or music devices
shall be used prior to 8AM.
11.4 Noise Level Measurements
Noise levels are not anticipated to be high enough to require measurements
11.5 Continued Noise Monitoring
Noise levels are not anticipated to be high enough to require continued monitoring
11.6 Specific Restrictions Related to Manufacturing On-Site
There will be no noise related on-site manufacturing at this project
12.0 Enforcement
12.1 City Construction Mitigation Officer
A City Construction Mitigation Officer (CMO) shall be assigned to this project by the City
of Aspen
12.2 Corrective Action
The City of Aspen shall enforce construction mitigation corrections as applicable by
current codes and adoptions

12.3 Inspection Reports
CMO shall complete construction inspection reports and shall keep as public at the City
Engineering Department
13.0 Construction Mitigation Committee
The Construction Mitigation committee shall review exemptions sought by projects and make
determinations as deemed appropriate.
14.0 Appeal Process
Appeals shall be forwarded to the City Manager for exemptions
