RE: Change Order #1, 807 McSkimming Road, Permit Number: 0014.2017.ARBK
Dear Hailey,
High Country Engineering has performed design alterations per the desired change order. The approved
project consists of a 16’ gravel road (an extension of McSkimming Road), (3) Redi-Rock walls, a guard
rail, ROW drainage improvements, and re-grading select areas of disturbance. Change order items include
driveway alignment, structural wall types and locations.
The most significant changes from the approved design pertain to the driveway alignment. In order to
stay out of Lot 13 ‘landscape buffer’, the new road’s alignment was adjusted near Lot 13. The uphill wall
on Lot 13 changed to a precast concrete retaining wall that will be 4’ deep (no footer). The downhill wall
on Lots 10 & 14 changed to a cast-in-place concrete retaining wall with 8.33’ wide footer. All drainage
improvements remained unchanged from the previously approved design.
Feel free to contact me at 970-945-8676 with any questions.
Sincerely,
HIGH COUNTRY ENGINEERING, INC.
