This project was submitted on April 21, 2017, after the new 2015 code adoption date of April 10. I mistakenly referenced the old code. You will actually need to meet the requirements of the 2015 IECC as amended by Ordinance 40, 2016, which requires U factors of 0.28 and 0.55 for the skylight and window. The NFRC performance requirement with Aspen has become a challenge for many this year. The .60 system is not a problem, but the .35 system u-value is tough with an aluminum system. Since all of our skylight and greenhouse units are 100% custom – we do not have NFRC stickers. Wehave submitted our NFRC simulations, which have passed but lately a few city projects they are requiring the certified simulation data. We are in process to complete the ASHRAE calculations, especially since this requirement has comedown to Vail… Boulder and Denver. I attached our general greenhouse details and NFRC simulation data.
