nondiscrimination requirements on selling tickets for assigned seats at events
within the main theater.
2. The Wheeler Opera House orchestra section has a defined number of seats that can
be removed to accommodate a wheelchair. For most seating accommodations, two
seats are removed for 1 wheelchair (bold text indicates wheelchair assignment,
red text is additional seats removed). These locations are as follows: Row A 121,

adopting the International Building Codes.
Additional options that are flexible for accessible seating include: Row B 121, B

3. The Wheeler Opera House orchestra section has a defined number of aisle seats
with retractable armrests called “designated aisle seats”, at the following locations:

seat from a wheelchair with limited assistance, Wheeler staff and volunteers will
store wheelchair until needed to exit theater.
4. For reserved-seating performances, movies, and other events, tickets for accessible
seats may not be sold to members of the general public who do not need the specific
features of accessible seats. Unsold accessible seats may be released and sold to
the general public when all non-accessible seats have been sold for a performance;
or when all non-accessible seats in a particular seating section have been sold; or
when all non-accessible seats in a particular price category have been sold.
5. For general admission performances, movies, or community events, patrons have
the option to select an ADA General Admission ticket and select accessibility need
at purchase. Information on general admission accessibility needs is communicated
by the Box Office to Building & Front of House staff via Event Production Reports.
Companion seats immediately adjacent to accessible seating will be marked with a
RESERVED banner.
6. Tickets for ADA accessible seating are available for sale in the same manner and
under the same conditions as all other ticket sales. Tickets for accessible seats are
sold during the same hours, through the same methods of purchase (by telephone,
in person, and online) and during the same stages of sales as non-accessible seats.
For both reserved & general admission seating purchases, patrons answer the
following question: If you selected ADA accessible seating, what are your
