New Policy: In order to allow Building Department staff uninterrupted time to review permits, walk-in
hours for questions are changing. Inquiries regarding permit status, estimated review timelines, and
technical questions will be accepted without an appointment between 8am and 1pm. Permits may be
picked up any time during normal business hours, 8:00am to 4:30pm.

Subject: Building Department Confirmation: 447 E. Cooper
Hello Stephen and Mike,
As part of the approval for 447 E. Cooper’s Notice of Approval, the Building Department
Confirmation will be included as an attachment to the application. Please confirm the following
information below with an email response.
The contractor, Mike from Pacific Sheet Metal, has confirmed reducing the curb under the
condenser units to 8” from the original proposal of 12”. With this change, Building Department
officials believe that the proposal has achieved the minimum height possible to accomplish its
purpose. The maximum height should be around 50”.
