If you are using the sf of the entire restaurant you must show all existing lighting in the entire space and include it on your ComCheck. Please reduce this number to only account for the dining space where lighting is being altered. Any existing lighting to remain after this remodel in that area should also be included on your ComCheck. Subject: PlanCheck Page Label: 1 Author: justinh File Name: ComCheck.pdf You need to be using the space by space method as you are not doing a ComCheck for the entire building. Please revise, this watt/sf should only be .89 per IECC table C405.4.2(2). Subject: PlanCheck Page Label: 1 Author: justinh File Name: ComCheck.pdf I agree with the fixture count for fixture A, but am unsure regarding the pendant and sconce. I count 10 of fixture C on the lighting plan which appears to be a sconce, but you show 20 on this report. I do not see 10 pendant lights shown on your lighting plan and I do not see where the 6 lights marked B are shown on this report. Please clarify and revise the ComCheck and lighting plan as needed. I spoke to Alex from LEAX about this at length. We will verify the bulbs match my wattage though I don't feel I should have to compromise the lighting design because the fixture can support a different bulb. We will use the bulbs we spec. Let's discuss. I have adjusted the sq. ft. calculation to only include the area we are affecting.
