CONDENSERS
Hello Alison,
For the scope of work you have described for this building, you will not be required to pursue a Certificate of No
Negative Effect and may apply directly for both a repair and mechanical permit. Please include all of the details you
have attached with the permit submissions because HP staff will be a reviewing body. We will let the Permit
Coordinators know that this will be the process for this project.
Let us know if you have any other questions.
Thank you,
Sarah Yoon

Subject: 520 COOPER - EXISITING SWAMP COOLER UNITS - REPLACEMENT TO NEW CONDENSERS
Hi Amy and Sarah – We met with Philip and Jim briefly the other day with two items that are in the rear alley behind 520
E Cooper.
1. We are needing to replace old swamp cooler equipment on the deck that faces the alley.
2. The windows to the East end of the 2nd floor don’t match the majority of windows on that elevation, and we
would like to have them all match.
It sounds as if we need to do a “Certificate of No Negative Effect” for both of the above. Please let us know how you
would like to proceed.
- Thank you, Alison
