5.INSTALL INLET PROTECTION AT ALL AREA INLETS AS WELL AS DOWNSTREAM RECEIVING INLETS ALONG
COOPER AVENUE AND HUNTER STREET.
6.AT ALL TIMES DURING CONSTRUCTION AND UNTIL FINAL COMPLETION AND ACCEPTANCE OF THE WORK.
THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PREVENT THE FORMATION OF AN AIRBORNE DUST NUISANCE IN SUCH A
MANNER THAT IT WILL CONTAIN DUST PARTICLES TO THE IMMEDIATE AREA OF THE WORK. THE
CONTRACTOR MUST PERFORM SUCH TREATMENT WITHIN 2 HOURS AFTER NOTIFICATION BY THE CITY
THAT AN AIRBORNE DUST NUISANCE EXISTS.
7.THE CONTRACTOR MUST IMPLEMENT BEST MANAGEMENT PRACTICES (BMP's) TO MINIMIZE THE
TRANSPORTATION OF SEDIMENT BEYOND THE LIMITS OF DISTURBANCE.
8.THE CONTRACTOR SHALL CONTAIN HIS CONSTRUCTION OPERATIONS TO THE AREA WITHIN THE LIMITS OF
DISTURBANCE, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL NOT OPERATE OUTSIDE THIS AREA WITHOUT THE PRIOR

9.ALL EXISTING AND PROPOSED GATE VALVES AND MANHOLE COVERS MUST BE ADJUSTED SUCH THAT THE
TOP IS SET 12" BELOW FINAL GRADE.
10.COMPACTION IN EXCAVATED AREAS SHALL BE 95% MODIFIED PROCTOR DENSITY.
