Hi Marina,
It would be helpful to have a list of your responses to my comments. Ive attached the original
comment letter and here's the list I sent you April 11 with new comments in red:
1. You've changed the occupant load of the ground floor meeting room from 110 to 237.
Revise it back to 110 for the record set. Provide a separate drawing showing seating
layout for the temporary use of the meeting room for church service with the increased
occupant load.
2. Revise A1.2 to include insulation under all of the stair slab, not just some of it.
5. All the architectural stair detail sketches should be stamped by the architect (curved
stair and entry porch). Indicate riser height of the curved stair on the drawing. Provide a
letter requesting the non-compliant curved stair as an alternate method.
Please stamp everything.
ATTACHED
Note the low occupant load served by the curved stair in your alternate request letter.
ATTACHED
6. Stamp the roof assembly detail.
7. Dimension the height of the handrail and the lengths of the extensions on the porch
stair sketch.
Handrail height?
ATTACHED
8. S9.2 says the stair and connections will be by others. Provide a stamped design of
these elements.
Provide a stamped design of the curved stair construction.
11. Provide a new snowmelt plan to accurately reflect the new REMP worksheet and to
reflect what is exempt (only the portion of the accessible route that is on property, not in
the right of way).
Lets start over with the snowmelt:
You have 1806 sqft of snowmelt existing (1064+742 right?). Enter that in existing.
If you are tearing any up (even if it will be replaced), enter that in removed. Dont worry, you get
credit for it.
Any new snowmelt installed (even if it is replacing existing), enter in new (except for any
snowmelt that is on an accessible route and on property-that is exempt)
Any new snowmelt that is on an accessible route and on property, enter in new exempt
We have included our stamped drawings as well as stamped details and a letter
from our structural engineer regarding the stairs. Please clarify what else you need. Thanks!
