DIAGRAM, THE PRODUCT COVERS 99,67
SQUARE FEET WITH A 2" TOP LAP AND A 4"
END LAP.
This product is NOT to be used on slopes less
than 2" per horizontal foot.
ROOF DECK - hoof deck must be smooth, dry
and free from warped surfaces. K is recommended
that metal drip edges be installed at eaves and
rakes -
UNROLL BEFORE APPLYING - Roofing should
be unrolled and allowed to lie flat in warm sunlight
for some time in advance of application. This
allows the material to relax, thereby minimizing
the possibility of bucklesand surface unevenness.
THE SHEET SHOULD BE CUT INTO 12' to 18'
LENGTHS.
TEMPERATURE - Rooting must not be applied
when air temperature is below 50"F unless
proper precautions have been taken to allow for
application of the material.
ADHESIVE- TAMKO recommends TAMKO Cold
Method and Lap Cement or any cold application
cement meeting ASTM D 3019.
UNDERLAYMENT - TAMKO recommends the
use of underlayment wM roll roofing, Apply
asphalt saturated fart as underlayment over the
entire deck. Apply horizontally, parallel to eaves,
lapping each course of the felt over lower course
at least 2" and where ends join, lap the feh 4".
APPLICATION - Place S" side Strips of roll roafing
along the eaves and rakes, positioning them to
overhang the deck 114' to 3X8 Fasten strips
with 2 rows of nails as shown in diagram hemi n.
Poschon a full -width strip of roofing so that edges
are flush with eaves and rakes. Fasten upper edge
with nails d" on center and slightly staggered. Next
course should overlap nails a minimum of t'. Lift
lower edge of first course and cover edge firmly
into cement. Continue each succeeding course in
the Same manner, varying 12'to 18'sheet lengths,
so that end laps do not line up with one mother-
