Refer to attached email correspondence.
Per email correspondence between Pitkin County, Chamberlin and FCI it was confirmed that the parking lot signs can use
the Pozlock socket post system in lieu of the originally specified "slip-base" post system. FCI will install all of the parking
lot signage using the socket post system as it has been confirmed to be acceptable.

Thanks for the description Brady. I’m fine with the less expensive option.
Thank you,
Gabe

Gabe,
It is either the “slip-base” option or the “socket system” option (same thing as Pozlock that Sam
references). See below. The socket (pozlock) option is the less expensive.

Do you have a description of the different types? I’m not sure of what product changes would mean to
the look.

Richard/Sean,
I am in the process of getting signage contracted for the Aspen Ambulance project. I
received a quote from a contractor here in Grand Junction and as you can see in the
attached, the specified slip base signage is quite a bit more than the standard 2” pozlock
posts. The owner would save approximately $2,665.00 if we were able to switch to the
2” pozlock system and delete the specified posts. I wanted to check with you and see if
this is a possibility.
Please let me know your thoughts.
