Per email correspondence between Richard Goulding with Roaring Fork Engineering and Brady Blackmer with FCI
Constructors, it was confirmed that a tack coat will be required at the raised crosswalk geotextile fabric. Per the raised
crosswalk detail on sheet C-501, a layer of geotextile fabric is required to be installed on top of the concrete crosswalk
before the asphalt paving is installed. A new detail has been issued that notes the requirement of the tack coat to the
geotextile fabric before the asphalt paving is installed.
