Please provide the bottom of roof deck elevations at Grid 1, 4, and 5.9. Currently, using the top of beam elevation and the joist seat depth per the sections, there is about a 5/8" belly at Grid 4. 2. There is a vertical brace on Grid 1 between G & H, and another on Grid 5.9 between F & G. The anchor bolt designation on S102 does not call for a vertical brace base plate detail D/S204, but rather calls for a square base plate B or C/S204. Please confirm that D/S204 is to be used at the base of these columns. 3. Please refer to the attached mark up of base plate type. Please confirm if the dimensions on the drawings are required or if the added dimensions are acceptable. The added dimensions will better match the changes made to base plate type D on sheet S204. 4. Per the new anchor bolt detail included in PR-012, the braced frame columns will require 2' of anchor bolt embeddment. On drawing S-102 the foundation plan, the foundations at Grid 4&A.3 and 4&A.9 call for a 12" thick footing. Please confirm the anchor bolts at these foundations will require a 24" embeddment, if the 24" embeddment is required, please provide a new foundation thickness. Suggestion Answer Date Answered: 9/25/2018 1. Looking at the model, the bar joist drawings, and keeping the beam at Grid 5.9 as is, it seems that the roof beam elevations need to change as follows: Grid 4.9 (125'-4 3/4) Grid 4 (125'-8) Grid 3.5 (126'-3 1/4) Grid 3 (127'-1 1/2) Grid 1 (130'-3 5/8) 2. Yes, base plate Type D should be used. See attached revised pilasters. Prolog Manager Printed on: 9/25/2018 FCI_Integration Page 1 Request for Information 033 Detailed, RFIs Grouped by RFI Number 3. The marked up dimensions are acceptable. 4. Footing type D1 has been added (see attached). Anchor bolts may have 1'-9" embedment at this frame.
