RFI 15 addressed electrical gear reconfiguration in the west island of the parking lot. During the installation of the conduits
connecting the splice vault & transformer, Holy Cross requested to alter the route to eliminate one of the 90 degree bends.
The conduit was installed per the attached marked up. Also attached is a picture of the west island in it's current state.
With that being said, there are still a couple of items that need to be addressed as a result of the changes.
1. The landscaping will not be able to go in as originally planned. See the attached plan sheet L1.01 showing the
approximate location of the splice vault, transformer, gear and conduit connecting them. The PA 4" CAL tree shown in the
west island will need to be relocated and the PA 2.5" CAL tree in the northwest island may need to be relocated if there is
concern with this size of tree over an electrical line. Please provide direction for relocation of these trees and any other
planting changes to accommodate the changes.
2. In talking with Richard Goulding, the electrical easement shown on the final plat will need to be adjusted to reflect the
changes made in the field. Please let FCI know if we need to do anything to facilitate this.
