Per detail 3 on drawing A651, the roof deck is to be fire proofed to acheive a 1-hr fire rating. Per discussion between Jonathan West from Chamberline and Brian Young from FCI during a sitewalk on 1/29/2019 it was discussed to use drywall to acheive the required 1-hr fire rating in lieu of spray applied fire proofing. Please provide a UL listed assembly to acheive the fire rating required at the ceiling of the elevator shaft . Suggestion Answer Date Answered: 2/6/2019 COMPLY WITH UL DESIGN NO. P518, ATTACHED.
