Question Date Required: 3/26/2019
Please refer to attached.
Per the landscape drawings and email correspondence between Jonathan West with Chamberlin and Sam Meeks with
FCI, all of the exterior site concrete that is new with the building is to be sealed after it is poured. The product that was
specified for the concrete sealer requires a 28 day cure time. Per discussion during the 3/19/19 OAC Meeting, it was
confirmed that a Cure & Seal product can be used after the concrete has been poured in lieu of the specified product that
has to be applied 28 days after it is poured.

STORAGE
Cure & Seal 25% J22UV should be stored in tightly sealed
original factory containers. Store in a horizontal position to
prevent moisture accumulation on the drum head. Shelf life of
properly stored, unopened containers is 24 months.
APPLICATION
Placement: Apply Cure & Seal 25% J22UV immediately after
all surface water has disappeared and the surface cannot be
marred. Application of Cure & Seal 25% J22UV too early or too
late can affect the overall curing performance. Use low pressure
spray, roller or brush. Make sure that the sprayer, as well as
any other equipment that the material will come into contact
with is clean and dry. Do not contaminate the Cure & Seal 25%
J22UV with other materials, solvents, or water. Do not thin. Apply
uniformly without puddles.
CLEAN UP
Tools & Equipment use: Clean tools and equipment with Xylol or
lacquer thinner while product is still wet. Dried material may be
removed with Green Bean Clean.

Dayton Superior recommends a water based product like the
Cure & Seal 309 EF or Cure & Seal 1315 EF.

average daily temperature remains below 40°F (4°C).
Sprayers and equipment must have suitable type solvent-
resistant hoses and gaskets.
Do not apply concrete or mortar toppings over sealed surfaces.
Remove Cure & Seal 25% J22UV with Citrus Cleaner J48 or
Green Bean Clean® before applying resinous (epoxy, polyester,
urethanes, etc.) coatings.
Do not store food containers directly on the floor, always place
on pallets.
