There is a lot of music being played everywhere and at night a lot of lights. This
event would have to be in Wagner Park.
Aspen would be the first that they would produce. She wants a four or five year
contract. She would like to be here next year at the women's world cup. She
needs the opportunity to collaborate. She has major sponsors as they want to be
part of promoting Germany.
Dan Nelson said the electric in Wagner Park will be upgraded next year.
Bill said every kiosk needs a heat source. Power will be an issue.
Bill said Jennifer Carney will need to get a report on the event.
Hanna said maybe we take ACRA out of the loop and get someone else involved in
the production of this. The ACRA would co-market on their web site.
Maurin has hired herself out as a consultant to other towns.
Hanna said this is enormous for sponsors.
Terry said the market would be great for town as it is empty during that time.
Hana brought up employer private service as a member of the ACRA. We are a
big industry and I have a budget of 2 million dollar. The ACRA should accept us
as members.
Kiki said she would like to see Aspen with town supported internet. We need to
stay on top of it.
Fred said he likes the idea of a winter market and it is time sensitive. I like the
alternative to ACRA. We need to see the report from Jennifer Carney and make a
plan.
MOTION: Fred moved to adjourn; second by Hanna. All in favor, motion carried.
