HomeMy WebLinkAboutresolution.council.019-14 RESOLUTION #19 (Series of 2014) A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO, APPROVING CONTRACT AMENDMENT #26 BETWEEN THE CITY OF ASPEN AND OZ ARCHITECTURE AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE SAID CONTRACT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO. WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the City Council contract amendment #26 for Burlingame Phase II construction administration services between the City of Aspen and OZ Architecture, a true and accurate copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit "A"; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO, That the City Council of the City of Aspen hereby approves contract amendment 426 for Burlingame Phase II construction administration services between the City of Aspen and OZ Architecture, a copy of which is annexed hereto and incorporated herein, and does hereby authorize the City Manager to execute said agreement on behalf of the City of Aspen. Description of Service OZ Architecture and its Consultants have previously provided a fee for CA for Buildings 1-4 to be completed in 2013 which carried over into 2014 as part of Amendment 20,however only the fees to be invoiced in 2013 were approved by Amendment 20 This request is for authorization to proceed with the 2014 CA fees for Buildings 1-4 as previously presented as Additional Services for the Burlingame Ranch Phase II Project: Supporting Documents (See attached) Fee Matrix dated 1/8/2013(previously submitted with Amendment 20) Deliverables Construction Administration Services as more specifically described by the AIA Document 8195 dated 1/25/20so and A295 dated 1115/2010. Schedule Services in this proposal will commence on January 1,2014 and continue through completion of construction and issuance of Temporary Certificates of Occupancy for Buildings 1 through 4. These services will overlap with the services proposed in Amendment 27. Exclusions Proposal is for CA services related to completion and closeout of Buildings 1-4 only.Services will overlap with the start of construction of Buildings 5-7,however CA services for Buildings 5-7 have been submitted as a separate proposal.
