HomeMy WebLinkAboutresolution.council.009-21 RESOLUTION #009 (Series of 2021) A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO, APPROVING A CONTRACT AMENDMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF ASPEN AND ARTAIC GROUP LLC AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE SAID CONTRACT AMENDMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO. WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the City Council an amendment to the Owner-Construction Manager as Advisor agreement between the City of Aspen and Artaic Group LLC, a true and accurate copy of which is attached hereto as "Exhibit A"; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO, That the City Council of the City of Aspen hereby approves the amendment to the Owner-Construction Manager as Advisor agreement between the City of Aspen and Artaic Group LLC, a copy of which is annexed hereto and incorporated herein, and does hereby authorize the City Manager to execute said contract amendment on behalf of the City of Aspen. Scope:Artaic Group shall perform the services referenced as"Part 2"Construction Administration,in the referenced agreement. Additionally,Artaic Group has subcontracted the services of CAIRN Consulting to provide Quality Assurance services including: a. Weekly OAC attendance b. Contractor and Modular Manufacturer coordination meeting participation as necessary c. Modular factory and site coordination assistance,including shipping&receiving logistics d. Modular factory quality control observation e. 'Ready-to-ship'inspection management f. Observe modular receipt at site and document any potential freight damage as contractor takes possession g. Assist with freight damage claims h. Set,Structural Stitch,MEP Stitch,and temporary dry in activity observation I. Observation reports will be provided for factory and site activities j. Factory visits at a frequency per the attached k. Site visits at a frequency per the attached 2. Schedule:Artalc Group's fee is based on the schedule assumptions detailed per the attached. 3. Fee:Detailed schedule of values is attached. a. Project Management Fee(Artaic):$400,498 b. Modular Quality Assurance(Subcontract):$132,000 TOTAL FEE:$532,498 c.
