HomeMy WebLinkAboutresolution.council.061-14 A RESOLUTION OF THE ASPEN CITY COUNCIL EXTENDING THE ASPEN MODERN 90 DAY NEGOTIATION PERIOD FOR HISTORIC DESIGNATION AND BENEFITS RELATED TO THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 120 RED MOUNTAIN ROAD,CITY AND TOWNSITE OF ASPEN PARCEL ID: 2737-072-00-028 Resolution #61, Series of 2014 WHEREAS, Red Mountain Riverfront, LLC., represented by Kim Raymond Architects, submitted an application pursuant to Section 26.415.025.C, AspenModern Properties, of the Aspen Municipal Code, to voluntarily participate in the AspenModern ninety-day negotiation period for 120 Red Mountain Road, City and Townsite of Aspen; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 26.415.025.61, the ninety-day AspenModern negotiation commenced on March 14, 2014 and will expire on June 23, 2014; and WHEREAS, a public hearing cannot be scheduled before City Council until June 23, 2014, therefore staff and the property owner are in agreement that a 40 day extension of the negotiation to July 22, 2014 is appropriate to allow additional time to discuss options for the property. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO: The 120 Red Mountain Road negotiation period established by Aspen Municipal Code Section 26.415.025.0 is hereby extended to July 22, 2014.
