INSTALLATION GenFast Insulation Plates should be positioned over the insulation with the ribbed side up and attached to the roof deck using the appropriate GenFast™ Fastener as specified in current GenFlex Technical Specifications and Details. INSTALLATION PRECAUTIONS • Eye protection must be worn during installation of the insulation plates to prevent injury. • Care should be used when handling and or transporting buckets of plates. • Insulation plates are manufactured from Galvalume metal. Precautions should be taken to avoid metal slivers when handling and during installation. • Overdriving the fastener can cause damage to the plate and insulation facer. • Plates are designed to anchor roof insulation only. • Avoid field seams directly over insulation plates. If stored out of doors, place on skids in a dry area, and cover with a breathable tarp. SHELF LIFE Not applicable. PRECAUTIONARY DATA Eye protection is recommended when installing the fasteners.
