Other sources provide a variety of ratings, from xeriscape (Alameda)to Medium (Little Valley, High Country Gardens). In our observation in thefield, it thrives in low to medium gardenconditions.Hosta 'Honeybells' is rated Medium in the GreenCo list. This assessment isconsistent with what we have observed inthe field, and we have only described its use here in areas with Medium wateruse irrigation. While 'Waterperry Blue' is not specifically called out on the GreenCo list, other cultivated low-grow Veronicas are alllisted as Low water use. Little Valley supports this assessment, but othersources, such as Tagawa Gardens and TreeFarm describe it as preferring Medium conditions. We have observed that Veronica low groundcovers do well in low tomedium garden conditions. We have revised this note to provide mini-nugget bark mulch where applicable. This zone is will be irrigated as 'Medium' water use. The groundcover planned for this bed is adaptable, so it will performwell in this medium zone, likely without using as much water as a 'Medium' water use groundcover.Per our conversations with COA Parks, existing condition will be maintained under existing trees to the extent possible.Mulch will be used in all locations where this is not possible.02/14/2019

Adjustplans and water budget accordingly.According to the GreenCo plant list, Brunnera is rated 'Low', though alternate sources (Little Valley Nursery, AmericanMeadows, and Alameda) and observation in the field indicate that it functions well with medium water as well. The Alliums (BULBS: AS/AP) are located in low water use areas only. Unlike the cultivated Allium used in the plan,Alliums listed in GreenCo are native plants, well-adapted to the dry conditions of Colorado. American Meadows liststhe more ornamental Alliums as prefering average soil moisture conditions. We have observed these bulbs thriving indry beds as well as average garden beds, just not wet beds. These Alliums will not receive their own drip head, sincethey usually do not need much supplemental irrigation during dormancy.NW is a callout to the seed hatch, not intended to indicate #1 container plantings. Annotation has been corrected.Per our conversations with COA Parks, existing condition will be maintained under existing trees to the extent possible.Mulch will be used in all locations where this is not possible.According to the GreenCo plant list, Geranium cultivars are rated 'Medium'in the West Slope column. Little Valley andAlameda as well as observations in the field support this rating, while HighCountry Gardens describe its suitability forxeric conditions, and American Meadows describes a range of moisture preference from Low to Medium.02/14/2019
