Termination CapGas, Wood or Fuel OilDO NOT pack air space with insulation or
other materials.
Failure to keep insulation or other materials away
from vent pipe may cause overheating and fire.
If using decorative cap cover(s), this distance may need to be
increased. Refer to the installation instructions supplied with the
decorative cap cover.

In a staggered installation with both gas and wood or fuel oil
terminations, the wood or fuel oil termination cap must be higher
than the gas termination cap.
Fire Risk.
Maintain vent clearance to combustibles as
specified.
Notes:
1. Maintain a minimum of 2 feet clearance between edge of
vertical termination and perpendicular wall.
2. If terminating near window, keep minimum of 2 feet clearance
between window and vent termination.
3. All mechanical air intakes within 10 feet of a termination cap
must be a minimum of 3 feet below the termination cap.
4. All gravity air intakes within 3 feet of a termination cap must
be a minimum of 1 foot below the termination cap.
