RE: Structural Recommendations
Interior Remodel at Fifth Avenue Condominium Unit 304D

Seth,
As requested we have reviewed the potential structural impact of the proposed interior remodel at the unit
noted above. Our review is based upon existing and proposed architectural drawings provided by Z Group
Architects, dated December 15, 2017.
The current proposed scope of work that may affect the structure, includes the replacement of the existing loft
stair, and the modification of interior walls. Once demolition can begin, the interior wall and ceiling finishes
shall be at least partially removed in order to verify the potential effect on the existing structure, if any. Then
once the structure is exposed, we shall be contacted to visually observe the conditions. We will then be able to
conclude upon the structural impact of the proposed remodel. This shall be done prior to proceeding with the
removal or modification of any framing members.
