I am writing this in regards to the fence on top of the garage of
the Watson residence at 121 W. Bleeker. Neither the Management
nor the Hotel guests have any complaints against the fence. The
comments I have heard have all been favorable.

Re: Garage Railing
Diane:
Please pass along this letter to the proper authorities. We feel
that the garage railing is not at all architecturally disturbing to
the neighborhood; on the contrary, it reminds us of the widows'
walk so often seen on true Victorians. Furthermore, as our
children play with yours, the added safety feature should outweigh
any concerns of the committee objecting; particularly since the
rail is not really visible from the street.
