HomeMy WebLinkAboutresolution.council.092-14 RECEPTION#: 612261, 08/01/2014 at 11:08:22 AM, 1 OF 1, R $11.00 Doc Code RESOLUTION Janice K.Vos Caudill, Pitkin County, CO Resolution #92, Series of 2014 A RESOLUTION OF THE ASPEN CITY COUNCIL EXTENDING THE ASPEN MODERN 90 DAY NEGOTIATION PERIOD FOR HISTORIC DESIGNATION AND BENEFITS RELATED TO THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 301 LAKE AVENUE,THE EAST%,OF LOT 5 AND ALL OF LOTS 6 AND 7,BLOCK 40, HALLAM'S ADDITION TO THE CITY AND TOWNSITE OF ASPEN, COLORADO PARCEL ID: 2735-124-16-003 WHEREAS, 301 Lake Avenue, LLC, represented by One Friday Design and Haas Land Planning, submitted an application pursuant to Section 26.415.025.C, AspenModern Properties, of the Aspen Municipal Code, to voluntarily participate in the AspenModern ninety-day negotiation period for 301 Lake Avenue, City and Townsite of Aspen; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 26.415.025.C.1, the ninety-day AspenModern negotiation commenced on May 22, 2014 and will expire on August 20, 2014; and WHEREAS, a public hearing cannot be scheduled before City Council until August 25, 2014, therefore staff and the property owner are in agreement that a 40 day extension of the negotiation to September 29, 2014 is appropriate to allow additional time to discuss options for the property. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ASPEN,COLORADO: The 301 Lake Avenue negotiation period established by Aspen Municipal Code Section 26.415.025.0 is hereby extended to September 29, 2014.
