The lowest portion of an awning and appurtenances must be eight feet above the pedestrian surface over which it projects. 2. The licensee must remove snow from the awning following a snowfall and continuously during sustained snowfalls. 3. If the City has removed snow on the downtown mall prior to the licensee removing the snow from his/her awning, the licensee must remove the snow from the awning off of the mall. 4. The licensee is responsible for removal of ice on the mall caused by the awning and appurtenances. 99M 174 1
