Randy Ready said local buses stop there and it is a service that is beloved
and accepted by Cemetery Lane and Castle Creek etc.
Don said they could drop off and face the gondola instead of getting out and
crossing the street. Don suggested reversing the route. Letting them out on
the square.
Randy said they can look at it.
Public Comment
Cynthia Bye — I was not the greatest vendor and over loaded myself. I am
slow in the winter. I signed on two extra markets and overloaded. I was
slow in turning in my sales tax. I never meant to be a disturbance to anyone
else. My.application came in on time and I will also do my sales tax.
Terry asked how many market Cynthia was in. \
Cynthia said she cut out Dillon and Denver and will only do Vail.
Bill said there are a lot of people who want to be in the market. The product
is good.
Cynthia said her following has grown.
Terry said to let your sales tax slide is not acceptable and you know what the
rules are. You have to be on time and pay your taxes.
Cynthia said she did the over achiever thing and developed a bad pattern.
Riley said we need to go into an executive session to discuss this.
ACRA
Eric Klanderud, membership coordinator

Riley said Eric will be the ex-officia on the board and report back to the
ACRA.
Riley said we will be better informed between the ACRA and the City.
Don said Eric is connected and has.a done a lot of good things for this
community.
Eric said a year ago they had 638 members and now we have 800 members.
That has a lot to do with the economy. This will be a two way channel.
Eric said he has worked with Jim Pomeroy with business permits and the
codes.
Don said we need a list of the businesses in the core.
Riley said we need an e-mail list. We need to change the system where you
will have to submit extra information on your business license.
Riley said we are charged with gathering a lot of public discussion before an
item goes to a work session with city council. We can facilitate for different
departments that need to get information out to the businesses.
Bill suggested reviving the Winterskol parade and incorporating gay ski
week in the parade. We need a January Winter carnival.
Eric said there was lack of participation in the Winterskol parade. There is
so much programming going on that people can't commit. Last year we had
six or seven floats only. Eric said maybe we can look at doing something at
night time.
Kiki suggested doing the parade after soup skol.
Bill said there is no entity tasked to vetting these events.
Eric said we started the fat tire event and it was real successful.
