Note: If the construction re-opening goes poorly, it will delay the re-opening of future tiers of
business and m w actually m aye regulations back to where they were before. Com rliance with
this plan is crucial, and infractions are punishable by law enforcem ait.
( Koru Ltd hereinafter"Corn piny") takes the health and
safety of our em Xloyees very seriously. In order to be safe and m antain operations, we have
developed this COVID-19 Site Safety Plan to corn ply with the current Pitkin County Health
Order.
This Plan identifies construction tasks that affect the critical path, and prioritizes these tasks.
The Plan addresses the following:
o Focuses on activities that are truly critical: Not all construction activities are of equal
urgency, those activities that are m cst critical to job progression will be prioritized, to
allow for better separation of the workforce. When considering whether a project is
critical, the following factors were considered:
o W lether the project is under construction already and thus requires active
traffic m aiagem fait (in the case of a transportation project) or other work zone
safety m casures that benefit from ongoing activity;
o W'ether deferral of a start date on a project would underm he public safety or
continuity of operations for critical infrastructure;
o W lather the project can feasibly be done with social distancing m wsures as
detailed above.
o Encourages deferral of non-essential work
I. Responsibilities of Managers and Supervisors
All m aiagers and supervisors mist be fam liar with this Plan and be ready to answer
questions from em floyees. Managers and supervisors m tst set a good exam fie by following
this Plan at all times. This involves practicing good personal hygiene and jobsite safety
practices to prevent the spread of the virus. Managers and supervisors m at encourage this
sam ebehavior from all em floyees.
II. Responsibilities of Em ployees
The Com zany is asking every one of our em floyees to help with our prevention efforts while
at work. In order to m him ke the spread of COVID-19 at our jobsites, everyone m at play
their part. As set forth below, the Com zany has instituted various housekeeping, social
distancing, and other best practices at our jobsites. All em zloyees m tst follow these. In
addition, employees are expected to report to their m a lagers or supervisors if they are
experiencing signs or sym ztom sof COVID-19, as described below. If you have a specific
question about this Plan or COVID-19, please ask your m auger or supervisor. If they
cannot answer the question, please contact Jeff Britt
OSHA and the CDC have provided the following control and preventative guidance for all
workers, regardless of exposure risk:
❑ Frequently wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. When
soap and running water are unavailable, use an alcohol-based hand rub with at
least 70% alcohol.
❑ Avoid touching your eyes, nose, or m cuth with unwashed hands.
❑ Follow appropriate respiratory etiquette, which includes covering for coughs and
sneezes.
❑ Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
In addition, em zioyees m ut fam iiarize them selves with the sym atom sof COVID-19, which
include the following:
❑ Coughing;
❑ Fever (a tem z rature of 100.4°F or m ore);
2
❑ Shortness of breath, difficulty breathing;and
❑ Early sym Atom ssuch as chills, body aches, sore throat, headache,
diarrhea, nausea/vom Ling, and runny nose.
If you develop a fever or sym prom sof respiratory illness, such as cough or shortness of
breath, DO NOT GO TO WORK and call your supervisor and healthcare provider right
away. Likewise, if you corn einto close contact with som Bone showing these sym Atom S
call your supervisor and healthcare provider right away.
III. Job Site Protective Measures
Sum m ay of work plan is as follows:
Work will be lim Jed to critical activities and reduced workers for each critical activity. M anagem eit team has outlined work
areas for each work task that creates distance between workers. Corn m unication is key so all workers understand where they
can work. Safety and wellbeing of the workers and corn m unity is param cunt.
The num ter of people in each work crew will be reduced to the m him u rmum ter of people
possible to perform the task safely, even if the reduction of crew size m cans the job takes
longer. Below is a description of each phase of construction and the num ter of workers that
will be permitted.

• Any em zioyee/contractor/visitor showing sym Itom sof COVID-19 will be
asked to leave the jobsite and return horn e
• Safety m ertings will be by telephone, if possible. If safety m ertings are
conducted in-person, attendance will be collected verbally and the
forem al/superintendent will sign-in each attendee. Attendance will not be
tracked through passed-around sign-in sheets or m(bile devices. During any in-
person safety m ertings, avoid gathering in groups of m cre than 5 people and
participants m tst rem an at least six (6) feet apart.
• Where work trailers are used, only necessary em zioyees should enter the trailers
and all em zioyees will m antain social distancing while inside the trailers.
• Access to enclosed spaces will be restricted to essential personnel only.
Enclosed spaces (e.g., toilets, break areas) are viewed as potential transmission
areas and treated accordingly. Tim espent in these areas should be reduced as
m tch as possible.
• Em zloyees m 1st avoid physical contact with others and shall direct others (co-
workers/contractors/visitors) to increase personal space to at least six (6) feet,
where possible. Construction team sshould m dce every effort to lim t activities
that cannot be perform el within 6 feet of distance between workers. However,
som ecore construction activities m ay require som eproxim ty to corn iiete (e.g.,
concrete pours, utility potholing, work in cranes, drainage pipe construction,
am mg others). In these cases, construction crews m ut em ploy other aggressive
m eisures to lim t contact. Exam ties include the use of supplem eatal Personal
Protection Equipm eat (PPE) like face shields or respirators, m him king the
num her of people on a team, and retaining consistency within work teams to
lim t contact with parties external to that team .
• In-person m(clings should be avoided. Office m ertings and consultations should
take place virtually, with participants working from horn eor their work truck,
whenever possible. If an in-person m erting is absolutely necessary, that m ut be
lim ted to fewer than five people, and participants m Lst m antain 6 foot distance
4
at all times during the m artings. All surfaces should be wiped down before and
after the m acting, and hand washing should also occur before and after the
m acting
• Em lioyees will be encouraged to stagger breaks and lunches, if practicable, to
reduce the size of any group at any one tim eto less than five (5)people.
Workers shall NOT travel to local restaurants, grocery stores, etc. for breaks.
All food m ut be brought from hom e Com m nity provided food and lunch
areas and com m nity coffee pots, water dispensers, m irrowaves WILL BE
ELIMINATED from break and other com m a areas.
• Hand washing stations will be m ale readily available to m ke it easy for
em lloyees to wash their hands m iitiple times a day. Hand sanitizer with at least
70% alcohol will also be provided for em lloyees to use if soap and water are

stay stocked at all tim ES and provide additional hand sanitizer when needed
• Em lioyees should lim l the use of co-workers' tools and equipm att. To the
extent tools m ist be shared, the Com piny will provide alcohol-based wipes to
clean tools before and after use. When cleaning tools and equipm mt, consult
m alufacturing recom m ndations for proper cleaning techniques and restrictions.
• Em lioyees are encouraged to lim I the need for N95 respirator use, by using
engineering and work practice controls to m him ize dust. Such controls include
the use of water delivery and dust collection system as well as lim ling
exposure tim e
• The Com zany will divide crews/staff into two (2) groups where possible so that
projects can continue working effectively in the event that one of the divided
team sis required to quarantine.
• As part of the division of crews/staff, the Corn piny will divide em lloyees into
dedicated shifts, at which point em ployees will rem an with their dedicated
shifts for the rem rider of the project. If there is a legitim ae reason for an
em xioyee to change shifts, the Com piny will have sole discretion in m dcing that
alteration.
• Em lioyees are prohibited from ride-sharing and car pooling unless em lioyees
using car pool are from the sam ehousehold.
• Each em lioyee should use/drive the sam etruck or piece of equipm aft every
shift.
5
• In lieu of using a corn m a source of drinking water, such as a cooler, ern floyees
will use individual water bottles.
B. W akers entering Occupied Building and Homes
• Construction and m antenance activities within occupied horn ES, office buildings,
and other establishm arts, present unique hazards with regards to COVID-19
exposures. Everyone working within such establishm sits should evaluate the
specific hazards when determ hing best practices related to COVID-19.
• During this work, em iloyees mist sanitize the work areas upon arrival,
throughout the workday, and im m diately before departure. The Corn pany will
provide alcohol-based wipes for this purpose.

at a m him un .Workers should wash or sanitize hands im m diately before
starting and after corn 0eting the work.
C. Job Site Visitors
• The num ter of visitors to the job site, including the trailer or office, will be
limited to only those necessary for the work.
• Visitors outside the typical work crew should avoid interaction with the team
wherever possible. For exam lie, if an inspector or m aerials delivery needs to
enter the site, they should alert the work team (e.g. by honking the horn of their
vehicle twice or through another established corn m uication m ens) so that the
work team can vacate the site while the external parties are present.
• Site deliveries will be perm>tted but should be properly coordinated in line with
the em floyer's m him a contact and cleaning protocols. Delivery personnel
should rem an in their vehicles if at all possible.
• All visitors will be screened in advance of arriving on the job site. If the visitor
answers "yes"to any of the following questions, he/she should not be permitted to
access the jobsite:

N95 respirators to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Nevertheless, employees
m tst wear N95 respirators if required by the work and if available.
• Due to the current shortage of N95 respirators, the following Work
Practice Controls should be followed:
o Keep dust down by using engineering and work practice controls,
specifically through the use of water delivery and dust collection system s
o Lim 1 exposure tim eto the extent practicable.
o Isolate workers in dusty operations by using a containm alt structure or
distance to lim t dust exposure to those em ployees who are conducting
the tasks, thereby protecting nonessential workers and bystanders.
