Re: Lot 7 Double Bar-X Ranch, Stage Rd. -0079.12018.PRBK
During the as-built process for Lot 7 Stage Rd. in the Double Bar-X Ranch, it came to
our attention that two pipes that were meant to daylight into swales leading to the
drywell were piped directly to the drywell instead. Below are snips of the design and as-
built drawings showing the difference.

Site changes in grade due to new trees limited the depth of the swales resulting in covering the
pipes. The slopes of the pipes are now steeper than the design so capacity isn't an issue. The
designed pipe slopes were 2% while the as-built slopes are 10.2% and 4.2%.
The BMP for this area was always intended to be the drywell and swales were not considered
official BMPs but just additional treatment utilizing the treatment train approach. This as-built
conditions still meets all City of Aspen's requirements for the BMP storage and piping
capacities. We deem this as-built condition functional and adequate.
